Lane Cove Theatre Company is a not-for-profit community theatre dedicated to staging accessible, low-cost productions for people of all ages. When the Lane Cove Aquatic Centre told them about Get Fit Give Back, several members signed up—and the resulting donations allowed the Company to enhance its children’s show with extra set pieces and costumes, enriching the experience for young audiences.

Operating on a shoestring budget, Lane Cove Theatre Company relies on every dollar to cover venue hire, royalty fees and the many unseen costs of running a show. “Any monies that we receive [are] plowed back into venue costs, royalties and all the things that are… unseen costs to running a theatre company,” Rachel explains. She “would definitely recommend the Get Fit Give Back campaign”—a simple way for community groups to thrive while their members pursue their own wellness goals.
