he Les Twentyman Foundation (LTF) teamed up with BlueFit after being approached directly, sparking a powerful partnership rooted in shared local footprints. Operating right across the west, northwest, and southeast of Melbourne, the foundation’s reach perfectly intersects with BlueFit’s local communities. “What we really focus on at LTF is giving young people every opportunity they can to be their best selves,” explains Chris Lacey, General Manager of Programs. The foundation steps in early to support youth who have disengaged from school or encountered legal troubles, wrapping vital services around them to get their lives back on track.

Through the Get Fit Give Back campaign, community-driven donations have bypassed traditional hurdles to deliver agile, immediate relief on the ground. Chris highlights the immense value of these flexible resources compared to standard funding avenues: “Government funding's fantastic, but it takes a long time, and is often tied down with a lot of bureaucracy. But donations from the community like this allow us to direct our resources where they're most needed and to be responsive.” Every dollar raised flows directly into frontline programs helping the vulnerable young people the foundation mentors each week.

Finding a true ally in BlueFit, LTF is already exploring new ways to expand their collaboration into the future. “We would 100% encourage anyone to get involved with BlueFit and what they're doing,” Chris adds. “Any organization that goes out of its way to provide opportunities for communities to connect with each other for support lines up hugely with our values. We're big fans of their staff and team.”
